Product Review | Silk Elements Kera Minerals Smoothing Deep Conditioner

Remember that haul that I told you about?  Well in the meantime in between time I’ve been going in on this Silk Elements Kera Minerals Smoothing Deep Conditioner from that haul.  I bought it because I was looking for a deep conditioner that gave me the same or similar air dried results to what I got when I deep conditioned with Darcy’s Botanicals Pumpkin Seed Moisturizing Conditioner.  And to my surprise the very first product that I auditioned as its replacement looks like it might be “the one.”  Find out what else I like about this deep conditioner in my video below.

What is your favorite deep conditioner for air drying?

  1. Love Shea Moisture Honey Manuka hair masque and ORS Replenishing Pak. Great review on your conditioner and I need to try it out since I have heard great things.

  2. Thanks, Mana. As much as I've heard about the ORS Replenishing Pak, I've never tried it. I've been hearing nothing but great things about it since I started my hair journey. I'm going to have to give that one a try at some point. Thanks for sharing your faves!

  3. Kenra's another one that I've always heard many good reviews on. I think the price holds me back a little bit though. But I'm happy to hear that it is good for air drying too…maybe I need to give at try the next time Ulta's having their Liter sale…hmm… Thanks for sharing your faves, Anon!

  4. Ulta is currently having their liter sale on Biolage, Kenra and Redken and many more products from July 5 to August 1 with a free liter pump while supplies last. Just stocked up on Kenra conditioner and Redken hair cleansing cream, my favorites.

  5. Next time I'm at Sally's I'll def look into this. Nothing like having a deep conditioner with both slip and moisture. My favs are Keracare humecto, CON SFE nourishing conditioner and ORS replenishing conditioner

  6. I've been using the Silk Elements for a little over a year now & I absolutely love it. If you have not tried the shampoo and leave-in I would definitely suggest trying all three. I've had the same great results as you mentioned – sleek, smooth hair with a reduction in bulk. I like to apply it to my new growth when I am several weeks post (as I would a relaxer); it does a great job of taming the puffy/frizziness.

  7. Thanks, Kwesi. I may have to give it a try because I am really loving that conditioner. I'm now testing out the other deep conditioners that I picked up from my last haul and I can tell the difference. They're good, but not as good as the KeraMinerals.
