Bangin’ Swangin’ Update (Weeks 16-20)

Based on my last Bangin’ Swangin’ Update, you all know that I joined weight watchers.  And I have to admit, it has made a world of difference in my weightloss.  What you need to know: (1) I write down everything — the sugar in my coffee, the ketchup on my fries, the vodka in my peach juice, everraythang; (2) I have complied with the daily/weekly points allowances that I have been allotted (with the exception of one week where I went 1 point over my weekly points allowance); and (3) while I have been active every week, I have yet to reach the weekly activity points goal that they’ve given me (14 points), but I’m working on it.  đź™‚

On Sunday afternoon, I weighed in at 147.2 lbs.  Yes, that’s right I am out of the 150s. (*excuse me, while I do my celebratory end zone style dance* …ok I’m done 🙂  I’ve been stuck in the 150s for YEARS, literally!!  It feels so good and I do not want to sabotage my progress, so I’m working on maintaining my focus and keeping my eyes on the prize.
My goal for the next four to five weeks is to continue what I have been doing and to add more activity points to my week.  Thus far, I’ve averaged 4 activity points per week, which is about an hour of working out for me, smh.  I will do better, I promise.   Until next time…

  1. I'm just seeing this! Wow! Congratulations!! I weigh 70 kg (about 154 pounds) and I still want to lose another 5 kg (11 pounds) and I can't wait!!
