Why I Bought it: I prefer to use liquid foundation, but in the summer months it’s been a big no-no. Whenever I tried to get away with using liquid foundation during the hot summer (and spring) weather the results were always bad. I ended up with an odd tint to my face that made me look worn out. I always felt that it had something to do with the moisturizer/sunblock combination on my face and the hot weather. So when I saw this on a trip to Target, I decided to try it. Especially since it said that it has a dry touch, I thought that would make for the perfect canvas to apply liquid foundation in the summer.
My Review: A little goes a long way, but it absorbs quickly so you have to be strategic when applying it. I’ve been squeezing a small chickpea sized amount on my index finger and placing dots on my forehead, checks, nose and chin to distribute the lotion evenly. My face feels moisturized and it leaves me with a smooth dry touch to my skin. I’ve been using it for over 2 months now under my liquid foundation and it is just what I needed. I no longer have that weird tint to my complexion at the end of a long day with makeup on. And excessive oiliness, blotting and powdering of my face are no longer things that I have to deal with. I was a little skeptical of the price $9.99 for 3 ounces, but I’ve used it every day for over 2 months and there still seems to be a substantial amount left in the container (at least half). I use the version that comes in spf 70 and I assume it’s giving me sun protection too. Also, I haven’t had any breakouts since using it.
Will I buy it Again? I will repurchase this when it gets low. And use it into the winter as well. If it allows me to wear liquid foundation in the summer, I’m curious to see what it does for me during the winter months as well. This product has the potential to become a staple in my skin care regimen. I’m glad I bought it.
